Notice at Collection (Summary)

We collect your name, phone number, state, answers about your disability claim and work status, call details, and website usage data. We use it to connect you with one participating independent disability attorney or advocate, to contact you as you request, to verify consent, and to run our business. We share your information with that representative and may be paid for the referral. Under California and some other state laws, this may be a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time: see Do Not Sell or Share. We keep information as described in Retention.

We do not ask for your Social Security number, medical records, bank information, or precise geolocation on this website. Please do not send them to us.

2. How We Use Information

We use sensitive information only to provide the service you asked for and as otherwise permitted by law. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you for other purposes.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your information to unrelated marketers or data brokers. In the past 12 months, we disclosed the categories in Section 1 to the recipients listed above for the purposes described.

4. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising, at any time:

We do not need to verify your identity for an opt-out request. If you already asked us to connect you with a representative, opting out stops future sharing; we will also tell the representative about your request where required.

5. Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

We use sensitive information only as permitted by law to provide the service you request. You may still contact us to make a request to limit its use.

6. Consumer Health Data

Some states, including Washington and Nevada, have laws about "consumer health data." Information that you have a disability claim may fall under these laws. We collect it only to connect you with a representative at your request, and we share it only with that representative and our service providers. We do not sell consumer health data without any authorization the law requires. You may ask to access, delete, or stop the sharing of this data using the contact methods above. We do not use geofencing around health care facilities.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA) and states such as Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, you may have the right to:

How to make a request: email joshua@getcallednow.com or call (888) 819-1715. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days (we may extend once by another 45 days and will tell you). To protect you, we will verify your identity by matching your name and phone number to our records, and may text a code to that number. You may use an authorized agent with your signed permission. Appeals: if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal." We will answer within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Residents of Arizona and other states without a general privacy law may also make these requests, and we will consider them in good faith.

8. Calls, Texts, and How to Stop Them

We call or text you only if you called us, asked us to call you, or gave consent. Consent is never required to get services. You can stop texts by replying STOP (or QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or OPT OUT). You can stop calls by telling the caller, emailing us, or calling us. You may revoke consent by any reasonable means, and we honor requests as soon as practical and within 10 business days. We follow do-not-call rules and calling-hour limits. Calls may be recorded where allowed; where the law requires, we will tell you at the start of the call.

9. Cookies, Analytics, and Do Not Track

We use cookies and similar tools from Google Analytics and our consent-verification providers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. We honor GPC signals as described above. Because there is no common standard for "Do Not Track" signals, we treat GPC, not Do Not Track, as the opt-out signal.

10. Retention

We keep lead and call information for up to 24 months to provide the service and handle questions, and consent records (TrustedForm certificates, LeadiD tokens, opt-out records) for up to 5 years so we can prove consent and honor opt-outs, unless the law requires a different period. Then we delete or de-identify it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as HTTPS encryption and limited access. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

12. Children

This site is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share information of anyone under 16.

13. Other Websites

Our site links to other sites, such as ssa.gov. Their own privacy policies apply.

14. California "Shine the Light" and Nevada

California residents may ask once a year how we shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing. Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of covered information. Use the contact methods above.

15. Accessibility

If you need this policy in another format, call (888) 819-1715 or email us.

16. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If changes are significant, we will give notice on the website.
